LAVIS Fall 2026: two amber lines on one page

LAVIS built its Fall 2026 release around amber. The Amber Jelly Collection is 12 translucent gel polish shades that read like resin held up to light, from honey and pumpkin through cranberry and merlot to olive and smoked brown. The 12 Amber Jelly shades

Every Amber Jelly shade is sheer on the first coat and deepens with each layer, so one bottle covers a soft tint and a full-depth color. The 12 shades, in order:

The 6 Amber Crystal cat eye shades

Amber Crystal runs AC-01 through AC-06 and covers glowing gold and amber, a bright orange-red, a deep red, an olive green, and a near-black brown. The pigment is gold-based, so the magnetic line stays bright with no gray cast, and every shade carries a fine crystal shimmer on top of the cat eye stripe.

Because the base is sheer, the same six bottles give you two looks: one coat over a dark base for a dramatic stripe, or two coats on their own for a softer, translucent glow. Fine lines, wide bands, diamond and chameleon-style effects all come from how you hold the magnet, not from different products.

How to build the jelly look, layer by layer

1. Prep and base. Push back cuticles, buff the shine off, cleanse, then apply a thin base coat and cure.
2. Coat one, a tint. Apply a thin layer of Amber Jelly and cure. At one coat the natural nail shows through, which is the sheer "glass" look.
3. Coat two, full depth. A second thin coat brings the shade to the color you see in the bottle. Cure again.
4. Optional frost. Finish with a matte top coat for the frosted jelly finish, or a glossy top coat for maximum shine. Cure and wipe.

Thin coats matter more with jelly than with opaque gel. A thick coat cures unevenly and loses the depth you're paying for. If you want a darker read from a light shade, add a third thin coat rather than one heavy one.

How to set the Amber Crystal cat eye effect

1. Base first. Apply base coat and cure. For the strongest stripe, add one coat of a dark gel color and cure before the cat eye.
2. Apply the cat eye gel. One even coat of Amber Crystal. Do not cure yet.
3. Hold the magnet. Bring a cat eye magnet close to the wet gel for a few seconds. A single bar magnet gives a straight line; angle it for a diagonal or hold it near the tip for a light pooling effect.
4. Cure immediately. The pigment drifts if you wait, so cure as soon as the line looks right.
5. Top coat. Seal with a glossy top coat and cure. The crystal shimmer sits under the top coat, so the finish stays smooth.

Work one nail at a time. Magnetize and cure each nail before applying gel to the next, and keep the magnet away from cured nails so you don't shift a stripe you've already set.

Wear, care and removal

Both lines are standard soak-off gel. Wear runs two to three weeks on a properly prepped nail with a thin base coat and a sealed free edge. Cuticle oil every day keeps the jelly finish from looking dry at the edges.

To remove, file the top coat off, wrap in acetone-soaked cotton for 10 to 15 minutes, and push the softened gel away with a wooden stick. Don't scrape. Store bottles capped, upright, and out of direct light; UV-reactive gel thickens if it sits in a sunny window.
