Frequently asked questions

What LDS bundles and gift sets are on this page?

Around 118 sets: LDS Color Craze 72 and 36-color collection sets, the 18-color SG1 family sets and glitter sets, Gel Color Sets of 9 and 12, Gel Set 3 trios, the Gel Kit 9-5 with base and top, the Cool Vibes holiday lacquer collection, and bundles with extras such as the J04 Jelly Collection with free cat eyes, chrome powder, base and top, and a magnet. Most are the HEMA-free, TPO-free Color Craze line.

Which LDS set is the right gift?

For a client, the Gel Kit 9-5 with base and top or a Gel Set 3 trio in her shade family. For a new tech, a 12-color Gel Color Set plus the Gel Kit 9-5. For a salon opening on LDS, the 72-color Nude set and one seasonal 72, then the SG1 18s to fill families. For an effects station, the J04 Jelly bundle, which lands 49 jellies with the accessories included.

How do I know which shades are in a set?

LDS prints the collection name (Sunburst Valley, Nude 2) or the shade numbers (1007, 1015, 1009) in the title, and Color Craze numbers are four digits with the collection code, such as 1001 J0401. Check a set against the wall by collection or number before ordering, reorder any shade singly from the Color Craze page, and add sets from collections not yet owned; fixed lists never overlap.

Are the sets HEMA-free?

The Color Craze sets, SG1 sets, and J04 Jelly bundle are LDS Color Craze, the HEMA-free and TPO-free line, and apply like any soak-off gel: thin LDS base cured, two thin coats of color cured 60 seconds each, a third for jellies, LDS no-wipe top, acetone wrap to remove. Keep base and top in the LDS family for a sensitive client.

Are LDS bundles sold at wholesale?

Yes. Every set, kit, trio, and bundle at ND Nails Supply is wholesale-priced for everyone, with no business license, no minimum order, and no membership fee, and the tagged sets carry the LDS Buy in Bulk gel tiers. Orders $100+ ship free, and in-stock sets ordered before 2pm PT on weekdays leave the same day.

LDS gel bundles: Color Craze collection sets, SG1 18s, and gift kits with base and top

This is the LDS bundle and gift-set page at ND Nails Supply, around 118 listings at wholesale that put an LDS gel palette on the wall or in a gift box in one order: the LDS Color Craze 36 and 72-color collection sets, the 18-color SG1 family sets, the 12 and 9-color Gel Color Sets, the Gel Set 3 trios, the Gel Kit 9-5 that adds base and top, the Cool Vibes holiday lacquer collection, and the J04 Jelly bundle that ships with free cat eye, chrome, and base and top extras. Every set is built from the same 0.5 oz LDS bottles sold singly, and most of it is the HEMA-free and TPO-free Color Craze line, so a set is topped up by the bottle by its four-digit number when one shade sells out.

Which LDS set to give, and which to stock

  • Gift for a client: the Gel Kit 9-5 with base and top, or a Gel Set 3 trio in her shade family; both are complete or small enough to wrap.
  • Gift for a new tech: a 12-color Gel Color Set plus the Gel Kit 9-5, which covers nudes, a seasonal run, base, and top.
  • The salon opening on LDS: the 72-color Nude set and one seasonal 72, then the SG1 18s to fill families without duplicates.
  • The HEMA-free conversion: any Color Craze set, since the whole line is HEMA-free and TPO-free.
  • The accessory-loaded start: the J04 Jelly bundle, which lands 49 jellies plus the cat eyes, chrome, base and top, and magnet a station needs for effects.

How to apply LDS gel from a set

  1. Prep and base. Push back, buff lightly, dehydrate, and cure a thin LDS base (in the Gel Kit 9-5 box, or from the LDS base and top page).
  2. Color. Two thin coats cured 60 seconds each under LED; jellies and sheers build with a third.
  3. Top. LDS no-wipe top, capped at the free edge, cured.
  4. Remove. File the top, acetone wrap 10 to 15 minutes, push off.

How to read an LDS set title

LDS names its sets by collection and prints either the collection name (Sunburst Valley, Nude 2) or the shade numbers (1007, 1015, 1009) in the title, and the Color Craze numbers are four digits with the collection code, such as 1001 J0401 for the first J04 jelly. A salon checks a set against its wall by collection or number before ordering, reorders any shade singly from the Color Craze page, and adds the next set from a collection it does not yet own. Because the collections are fixed lists, two sets from different collections never overlap.

Why the bundles come with extras

The J04 Jelly bundle and the Softly Sheer set include free items because the extras are what the set needs to be used to its full effect: a jelly is the base for a cat eye or a chrome, so the bundle adds the two cat eyes, the chrome powder, the base and top, and the magnet, and a sheer set comes with a color sample so the tech can swatch before opening a bottle. For a salon, that turns the bundle into an effects station in one order rather than a color box plus a second shopping list.

When to order LDS sets

The 72 and 36-color sets are year-round buys for the wall, but the gift-sized sets, the trios, the 9 and 12-color sets, and the Gel Kit 9-5, sell in two windows: November and December, and the run-up to Mother's Day. A salon that retails them puts the boxes on the counter from mid-November with a swatch beside each. Order early in the season, since a sold-out set does not come back until the whole box is restocked, and reorder a shade that sells out of a set by its number from the Color Craze page rather than waiting on the set.

From a gift set to a working wall

The Color Craze sets and the SG1 18s on this page are the same sets a salon builds its LDS wall from, so the gift order and the stock order overlap. A salon that buys the fall 72 as a gift-season display swatches it on the day it arrives and sells from it as a working set once the holidays pass; the 9 and 12-color sets go to the desk as retail boxes for clients who do their own gel at home, and the numbers inside them are reordered as singles when the client comes back for the shade she was given. The free extras that ship with some bundles (a lamp, a base and top pair, a sample) are what tip a first-time buyer into an LDS system rather than a single bottle.
