125 Street Smart Zzz gives you a navy blue and a wet-look gloss in one bottle. Blue is high contrast against most skin tones, so a clean cuticle line matters.
What you get in the bottle
- Formulated without HEMA: the methacrylate behind most gel sensitivity complaints is simply not in DND 125 Street Smart Zzz.
- No TPO either: the photoinitiator that can catch skin and eyes is left out as well.
- Levels itself: the texture settles after the stroke, so the second coat of DND 125 Street Smart Zzz does not show brush marks.
- A full wall, not a shelf: 288 shades means a salon can convert the whole colour wall rather than keep a token few.

- Prep: file to shape, push back the cuticle, take the shine off the plate and wipe it clean.
- Base: a thin coat of base gel, capped at the free edge, cured in your lamp.
- Colour coat one: one thin coat of DND 125 Street Smart Zzz. The texture is self-levelling, so resist loading the brush.
- Colour coat two: a second thin coat brings the pigment to full depth, cure again.
- Top coat: seal with a top gel, cure, then remove the tacky layer if your top coat leaves one.
- Aftercare: cuticle oil, and tell the client what changed if they came to you after a reaction.
Where this shade gets booked
- Summer sets: blue is high contrast against most skin tones.
- Pairing work: it sits next to a silver chrome or a white swirl.
- Toes, where a glossy finish is what the client asked for.
HEMA-free against a standard gel
There is one decision here and it is a formula decision. Ordinary gel is built on HEMA and usually cures with TPO. DND 125 Street Smart Zzz has neither, and keeps the pigment load and the high-gloss finish that make the regular line worth stocking. Most salons start with the clients who have had a reaction and widen out from there. Patch test anyone with a known allergy.
How to take it off
DND 125 Street Smart Zzz is a soak-off gel, so nothing here needs to be drilled off. Break the seal by filing through the top coat until the shine is gone, then wrap each nail in an acetone-soaked pad and leave it long enough for the layers to lift on their own. Ease the softened gel off with a wooden pusher. If it resists, re-wrap rather than scrape, because scraping is what thins the plate and causes the next set to lift.
DND 125 Street Smart Zzz is stocked alongside the DND HEMA and TPO free collection, the whole gel and lacquer category and the full DND gel and lacquer wall.
