    • 009 Innocent gives you a greige and a wet-look gloss in one bottle. Beige hides regrowth better than a bright colour, which stretches the fill cycle.

What you get in the bottle

      • Two ingredients removed, not the performance: DND 009 Innocent keeps the pigment load and the high-gloss finish while leaving out HEMA and TPO.
      • Made for the techs too: hands are in product all day, which is why ND stocks this line for the bench as much as the client.
      • Self-levelling texture: less fighting the brush, fewer heavy coats.
      • Colour choice is not the trade-off: the HEMA and TPO free line runs to 288 shades.
      • Gloss that holds: the cured finish stays high-shine for the life of the set as long as the top coat caps the free edge.

      Application steps

      1. Bench prep: shape, lift the cuticle back, buff off the gloss and dehydrate the plate.
      2. Lay the base: base gel thin and capped, then into the lamp.
      3. First pass: float DND 009 Innocent on and let the self-levelling texture do the smoothing, then cure.
      4. Second pass: build to full opacity, cure.
      5. Seal: top gel over the whole nail, cure, wipe the tacky layer if there is one.
      6. Finish: cuticle oil and a sidewall check.

      Where this shade gets booked

      • Quiet luxury sets: beige hides regrowth better than a bright colour, which stretches the fill cycle.
      • Pairing work: it sits next to a chrome powder over the top for a quiet metallic.
      • Work-safe manicures, where a glossy finish is what the client asked for.

How it compares with ordinary gel

Put DND 009 Innocent next to the same shade family on the regular DND wall and the difference is not on the nail, it is in the bottle. The pigment and the gloss carry over. HEMA and TPO do not. That matters for the client who has come back twice with a sore cuticle, and for the tech whose hands are in product forty hours a week. A known allergy still calls for a patch test.

      Matching this shade across services

The point of a duo is that the client can leave with a bottle that matches the set. DND 009 Innocent is mixed as a pair, so the air-dry lacquer reads as the same colour as the cured gel under normal light. Where the same code also exists as a dip powder, a salon can run gel, lacquer and dip off one shade code without a second colour match. Check the options on this page to see which formats ND carries for this code.

DND 009 Innocent is stocked alongside the DND HEMA and TPO free collection, the whole gel and lacquer category and every HEMA and TPO free gel ND stocks.
