      How the part system works

The DND wall is split into parts, and each part covers a block of shade numbers. Part 03 covers shade numbers 473 to 509. Colours inside a part are selected at random, with no duplicates, and the box ships from the stock ND holds on the day. That means a part will not always arrive as a full set. A complete part is 36 colours; if some numbers are out of stock the box is made up to the count on this listing from the rest of the part. Check the count in the title before you order, and order the shades you cannot substitute as singles.

      How the colours are applied

      1. Prep: file to shape, push back the cuticle, buff off the shine and dehydrate the plate.
      2. Base gel: one thin coat, capped at the free edge, cured under an LED lamp.
      3. Colour coat one: one thin coat, kept off the skin, cured.
      4. Colour coat two: a second coat brings the pigment to full depth, cured again.
      5. Top gel: one coat, cured, then wipe the tacky layer if your top coat leaves one.
      6. The lacquer half: air-dries over a base coat at home, no lamp needed.

      Who buys this one

      • A salon adding a whole block of the range rather than chasing colours one at a time
      • Rebuilding a part that has gone patchy after a busy season
      • Techs who log shade numbers on the client card and want the numbering to stay tidy

      Which way to buy

Compared with an assortment, a part is predictable about where the colours sit in the range, which matters when a client asks for the same number again. Compared with singles, it is one order instead of thirty, at the cost of picking each shade yourself.

      Colour swatches

This listing also carries colour swatch sticks as a separate option. Swatches are how a tech shows a client the real cured colour rather than a screen render, and they are worth having before a box this size goes on the wall: the same gel reads differently on a stick than it does in the bottle. Add them in the option selector above.

Stocked alongside the full DND gel and lacquer wall, gel and lacquer in bulk and DND, DC and DIVA shades.
