The Video Music Awards in September 2023 was a busy night for Sabrina and Zola. The singer had two wardrobes and needed a versatile manicure. The Met Gala 2024 and the 2024 Vmas
Rhinestones to the rescue! Zola invented similar nail styles for Sabrina at two big events this year. The first was the Met Gala in the spring. The manicure was made to match the soft blue Oscar de la Renta gown.
Zola started with the base coat followed by OPI’s “It’s A Boy!” This baby blue shade was made even cooler with a frosty glaze courtesy of OPI’s Tin Man Can chrome powder. She apparently mixed the powder right into the polish for an instant pearlescent effect. Once both coats cured, she strategically placed the stones and glossed it all with a top coat.

In September 2024, Sabrina wore a sequined white gown to the VMAs with a similar rhinestone-studded manicure. This time there was a white base. Notice how the stones are clustered near the cuticle with a few strays scattered toward the tip.
