Pure Pink Confection

DND’s DIVA gel colors follow a three-step system that requires a base coat, a top coat, and a nail lamp to cure. Once the nails are shaped and cleansed, apply the base coat. It only takes 30 seconds to dry in an LED lamp.

Next, brush on a thin layer of color like DIVA 112 Sugared Rose, cap the tip, and cure for 45 seconds. Add a second thin layer and cure again. Finally, apply the top coat and cure a final time for 45 seconds in an LED lamp. You’ll get the best results with a light touch so that everything sets properly.

Pink Aura Nails

Here the artist used DV 111 Pink A Boo and DV 140 Little Piggy for an aura nails design. The edges of the darker pink on top are expertly blended into the lighter pink on the bottom. It’s just one example of how the charming shades in this palette all play nicely together.

This vibrant shade is DIVA 120 Mellow Gemini from the Soda Poppin’ Collection. However, there’s nothing “mellow” about it. It feels like it can pull the sun out from behind the clouds! What a perfect spring and summer nail color.

If you’re eager to swap shades, DND lacquer comes off easily with acetone, and so do the gel polishes. They just take a little longer. For faster results, rest of the top layer with a coarse file. Then, soak a cotton ball in acetone, place it on the nail, and wrap the fingertip in foil. Wait at least ten minutes before checking if the polish has softened. You should be able to push it off with a cuticle stick and wipe off the remaining residue with a cotton ball.
